My Love Water Vanity is Best Statement Sink 2024

A new award for the Devon&Devon collections created in collaboration with the protagonists of international design: on 27 September 2024 the My Love Water Vanity units designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon won the Homes & Gardens Design Awards 2024 in the Best Statement Sink category.

The awards, which celebrate excellence in contemporary interior design each year, were presented by a panel of experts that includes Sarah Spiteri, Global Brand Director of Homes & Gardens, and Editor Jo Bailey, as well as Kit Kemp, Founder and Creative Director of Firmdale Hotels; Nicola Harding, Founder of Nicola Harding & Co; and Linda Clayton, design journalist.

Making its worldwide debut at the Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone 2024, My Love Water Vanity by Pierre-Yves Rochon for Devon&Devon is a collection of vanity units available in three sizes (Small, Medium, and Master) and in wall-mounted or freestanding versions. What makes them unique, in addition to their innovative design specifically created for the most exclusive hotel bathrooms, is their ability to perfectly combine extraordinary design flexibility with a brand new aesthetic. This is based on the use of a special marble-effect porcelain stoneware produced with the new ALL-OVER technology, which ensures perfect visual continuity of the surfaces and an extremely realistic material effect.

This is the latest award received by Devon&Devon after those obtained for its Holiday and Dove bathtubs. These were designed in partnership with Gensler and won the Archiproducts Design Award and Architectural Record Product Award in 2020. The Kalos collection, designed with Massimo Iosa Ghini won the Archiproducts Design Award and Green Good Design Award in 2021. The Twenties taps, designed with Gensler received the 2022 Archiproducts Design Award and the Blossom wallpaper, designed with Marcel Wanders, won the Archiproducts Design Awards 2023.
