Devon&Devon for Corri la Vita 2020

With passion and enthusiasm, Devon&Devon once again supports the Corri La Vita run, one of the best-loved charity events in Florence, the city where the company was founded and to which it closely linked.
As per tradition, many members of the company’s staff will be taking part in the 18th edition of this charity run organised for Sunday 27 September in Florence, this year with an all-new formula. In compliance with the new COVID rules, the morning will be dedicated to individual sporting events and in the afternoon, thanks to collaboration with the Associazione Città Nascosta, it will be possible to visit more than 55 cultural locations in Florence and Tuscany.
October is international breast cancer awareness month and from 1 to 31 the Florence showroom of Devon&Devon will be donating 5% of its profit to the Corri la Vita no-profit association, founded by Bona Frescobaldi in 2003 to help women with breast cancer and fund projects for prevention, early diagnosis and treatment. The first 17 editions of Corri La Vita raised more than 6 million euros, providing quality assistance to more than 400,000 women, supporting the work done by over 3,000 doctors, buying diagnostic machinery and financing 120,000 rehabilitation services.
“We are happy,” explains Graziano Verdi, CEO of Devon&Devon and Gruppo Italcer, “to once again support Corri La Vita and proud that all our staff have accepted the invitation to take part in the fund-raising initiatives. As well as a sign of our esteem for the work carried out in all these years by President Bona Frescobaldi, our commitment is also intended as a gesture of recognition towards Florence: its manufacturing district of excellence and its vocation for beauty have been fundamental cornerstones in the building of our worldwide success."
