In the heart of the Maribo Lakes nature reserve, immersed in the uncontaminated lush surroundings, an ancient royal estate, originally dating back to 1457, was recently transformed into a hospitality facility. Its 830 hectares of land are the perfect location for losing oneself while contemplating the magnificence of a wild landscape, populated by sea eagles, butterflies and wild orchids and studded with splendid manor houses, overlooking lakes, islets, and hills.
Within the estate, a traditional timber-framed house, with visible wooden beams and thatched roofs, has been renovated to become a wedding suite in which everything is based on romanticism, the passion for tradition, and comfort. The beautiful en suite bathroom is no exception: it features the Sicily Tiles flooring, the Simply wall covering, the Etoile basin, the Austin taps and the Kensington bathtub, combined to evoke the sophisticated atmospheres of yesteryear.
