Set in a privileged position on the heights of the Sorrento Peninsula, La Tuja Relais Du Parc is an exclusive new destination for those who love travelling at the relaxed pace of holidays from days gone by.
Converted from a historic family residence that was once owned by ancient Neapolitan nobility, the relais takes guests on a journey back in history without any compromise on contemporary comfort.
The interior design project by Antonio Lionetti reinterprets the memory of the building while enhancing its authentically Mediterranean spirit.
Elegant marble floors and herringbone parquet, together with the neutral yet radiant hues of the soft furnishings, are brought alive by the vibrant colours of cementine tiles that recall the blue of the sea and the green of the surrounding hills, as well as by oriental-style touches in the form of lamps and decorative objects.
The public areas and suites offer magnificent views out over the Gulf of Naples and the luxuriant park, where guests can stroll beneath centuries‑old palm trees and through the peace and quiet of the Mediterranean vegetation, or take a dip in the nineteenth‑century ornamental basin, now transformed into a bio‑lake.
Equally distinctive is the warm embrace offered in the splendid bathrooms by the Regina cast iron bathtub, its Victorian lines echoing the refined atmospheres and incomparable charm of a Grand Tour. "
