Once the heart of an eighteenth-century rural world centred on olive oil production, today Masseria Pirnello is a jewel-like residence where past and present live side by side in perfect harmony.
The renovation project, entrusted to the Flore & Venezia architecture studio, has preserved the dialogue between the main building and the magnificent surrounding countryside in the Itria Valley, dotted with olive trees and trulli.
The same thoughtful approach, aimed at restoring unity and clarity to the complex without altering its deep-rooted identity, also guided the work carried out on the interior.
By reinterpreting the typological features of Apulian farmsteads and working through a measured process of subtraction and recomposition, Masseria Pirnello retains all the authenticity of its layered past while embracing a new vitality suited to contemporary lifestyles.
This everyday feel, deeply rooted in the territory, also defines the large master bathroom, which offers a splendid view over the olive groves.
Here, among crystal chandeliers, vintage prints, and ancient terracotta jars, the welcoming silhouette of the Regal bathtub and the precious marbles of the Madison consoles help make for a truly unique space conceived as an oasis of relaxation dedicated to personal well-being.
