Contemporary minimalism and sophisticated Art Deco echoes define the stylistic signature of a luxurious residence spanning 1300 square metres, designed by Olesia Golova with Point Design Studio for a wealthy businesswoman who lives there with her family.
Reflecting the owner's refined aesthetic sensibility, everything in this splendid villa is designed in the spirit of quiet luxury, harmony, and timeless beauty—free from both contemporary design trends and classical imitation.
Architecturally, the various levels of the residence are connected by a strikingly sculptural staircase, at the heart of which hangs an exquisite chandelier evoking a contemporary art installation.
A cohesive design language unifies the form of the various spaces—which include a spa, gym, and home theatre—through the recurring use of distinctive architectural elements: plaster mouldings and softened corners, the delicate sand hue of the travertine wall covering, magnificent custom-made glass doors, bespoke furnishings by the interior designers, and iconic vintage pieces such as the lounge chair by Milo Baughman.
The same aesthetic rhythm extends into the private quarters, where the oak grain and the elegant marble veining play a starring role. The most private area of the residence—set apart, yet deeply integrated with the surrounding spaces—is the 125-sqm master suite, which flows seamlessly into a bright en-suite bathroom spanning 25 sqm.
Here, aligned with the window and the door, the nineteenth-century-inspired silhouette of the Aurora Bijoux freestanding bathtub serves as the focal point of a masterful setting, framed by hand-decorated walls with tone-on-tone botanical motifs and exquisite Calacatta Vagli marble floors.
