Family house, Vallée de Chevreuse

In the countrysides to the south-west of Paris, a jewel of the late 19th-century architecture is re-born thanks to good restoration work done by Royal Roulotte Studio. The building, which was previously subdivided into small apartments and remained inhabited for a long time, has recovered its original charme and its unitary designation of great family house. The interior design, carefully planned, preserves the signs of the past and the period finishes and combines them with solutions of contemporary spirit, such as the resin floorings in the large bathroom where the vintage fittings include perfectly the Draycott bathtub and Coventry taps by Devon&Devon
