Apartment, Moscow

In one of the coolest neighbourhoods of Moscow’s old city centre, a small apartment has been redesigned to resemble its owner and reflect his tastes: a young single man with a passion for music and cinema.
Marble aluminium, wood, one-off pieces bought in modern antique markets and original design objects are set side by side in a surprising balance of taste, both in the day area (the living room and kitchen dialogue through the original bar counter) and in the bedroom. In the bathroom, the designers at Archventil have cleverly mixed the vintage style of the Kensington cast iron bathtub, the retro touch of the sanitaryware with external cistern and the timeless candour of the hexagonal Mosaic wall coverings.
