Thanks to the design by architect Angela Rissler, an old stone tower in the south of France has been transformed into a splendid private residence that offers a perfect balance of charm from past and present times. Wood panelling and gilded frames, objects found and reinvented, aged wooden floors with wide planks and stone staircases restored to their original splendour: everything in this house of understated elegance speaks of the love of tradition and the desire for timeless beauty. The intimate atmosphere of the interior is in constant dialogue with the surrounding landscape and village, framed by each of the windows. In the bathrooms, the interior design is built around the retro taste and contemporary comfort of the Admiral bathtub, the Westminster console, the Daisy lamps and the Chelsea mirror.
